365 Days of photos

While Google searching at work one day, I searched "Baby photographers". In the list of the results I found the site: http://www.mandybirdwell.typepad.com/. I do have to say that I like her work. She has great ideas and style. On her sight she has a 365 days post. I thought that this was such a great idea. I have decided to try this out. I can not guarantee that I will have the time to do one everyday, but I will try. So for my first posting I am going to give you two.

Samantha Winter photos

Last winter I wanted the chance to take Samantha out and do some photos
of her in the snow, but we never got the chance. So, while she was home in between her semesters, I took the chance to get her out. We went to Wolff Park which is a beautiful wooded walking park.

Our first stop in the session. Inside the gazebo.

Niece Grace got in for a shot. It is strange how much they look a like at times. The serious side of Samantha! This is my favorite of this session

Her "angry eyes" photo. Check out her other "angry eyes" in her Senior photos post. Thanks so much baby sister for braving the chilly weather and being my model!
You take such great shots. What shall we try next.... maybe some at school?? Keep
checking back for more of my personal model.

Family & Friends Holiday Photos

Here are some of the families that I have had the privilege to shoot this Holiday season.
May you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed shooting them. The first two
images are wonderful children. The next 4 are of my Sister's boys and family.
Then there is Aidan, the grandson of one of my coworkers. The next 3 are my
Cousin's kids and her nephew. The last 3 are friends of the family's children.

Kristopher & Grace- the cutest siblings. Grace Mae- blowing kisses. Cameron- thinking..... The Vanderlindes' Rob, Becky, Connor, & Cameron Connor- given us his smile
Aidan- What a smirk. Brock, Sierra, & Dominick- sibling & cousin love
Brock & Sierra- Oh so thrilled Dominick- Happy man! Mariella, Miranda, & Alex- a typical sibling shot, everyone in their own world Mariella- beautiful girl Alex- cute baby
Enjoy! Thanks to everyone who allowed me to help make their Holiday memories. I look forward to helping you make more!

A day with the Gesse

Grace and Connor had been very eager to head down to the park and feed the geese. It was fall and still pretty warm so we headed to Otsiningo Park. The park has been taken over by the geese. The kids enjoyed themselves so much!
I could not believe that this goose was so brave to come right up to me. I had the camera to my face and as it got closer.... I shot him!
This bird caught my interest and I had to snap its picture. All that brown and then such a beautiful blue at the ends of its wings.

So ends the day with the geese. They had a great time feeding and chasing them around. Afterwards I took them over to the playground to burn some more energy.

A Woody & Jesse Halloween

Woody & Jesse. Better known as Connor and Grace. Born 9 days apart these cousins are a lot like siblings. They enjoy spending time together. Every year we have coordinated their Halloween costumes. This year they really enjoyed watching Toy Story, so we thought of this as the theme for Halloween. At first we tried to get Grace to be Boo Peep, but she decided on Jesse!
My Favorite Jesse! (Grace)

My favorite Woody! (Connor)

Enjoying some swing time. I love how these actually look old!!

Letting me know that they are all done.
We had fun shooting these photos. They love dressing up as Woody & Jesse.
I look forward to what we may find to coordinate them as for next year.
I'm hoping we can find something that we can include Cameron in too.
Let us know if you have any suggestions!!
