Trash The Dress- Christina Part 1

Meet Christina and Dave! They were married on June 5th in Syracuse. Christina came to me and said that she wanted to Trash the Dress and of course I was up to the challenge. We had so much FUN! I am glad that I was able to do this for her. We started out in Johnson City down by the railroad tracks and then we were off to Gary's U-Pull It. Gary's is a junk yard, in case anyone did not know that. When we were talking about what she wanted to do she said water. So, I took her to Salt Springs Park in PA and water she got. We put her in the freezing waterfalls and stream of water there. We then headed to my sisters house where Christina jumped into the pool. Dave had their underwater camera and got some really cool shots at the pool too.

I am still working on getting them all edited. Here are some that are done now, I just could not wait to share some of them. I promise there is more on the way! There are just so many that I wanted to share, that I will be spiltting this into two post. Here are the ones that we took at the tracks and at Gary's U-Pull It.

This tire was sitting at the tracks. We could not have asked for a better "prop" to be there.

and the rubber rope too. She wanted graffiti and I was able to deliver!

Love this one. Tracks equals danger and it just shows in her face.

She was a great sport and climbed (with help) anywhere I asked! The brick wall ledge she actually picked and it was a thin ledge!

This is where we ended at the tracks and headed off to Gary's!
Here she is on the tire mountain at Gary's.
Relaxing in an old truck. David found the F150 plate on the ground and gave it to her to use.
I LOVE, LOVE this one. It looked great in color and then I added the B&W effect to it and fell in love with it even more. This one is one of her mom's favorites too.
Yes, she really is sitting on the hood of the car. Yes, she really has grease on her arms. When she asked for it I think that the guy thought she was a little crazy. But it looks great. Nothing like your car breaking down on your wedding day and you have to be in the hood in your gown to fix it. lol
The car that we used in these two photos was so cool on the outside but so smelly and gross on the inside. We set a sheet inside and her sit half in side the door. She was such a great subject and sat there tolerating the smell to get these great photos!

One last photo by the Gary's U-Pull (http://www.garysupullit.com/) It tractor trailer.

I want to thank Christina for being a good sport with everywhere we stuck her. I also want to thank the Roche Family for allowing us to use the pool. What a sight to see when you look out your window- a bride jumping into your pool. Thank you to the guys at Gary's U-Pull It too, for allowing us to come in and shoot there and for our personal "tour guide", Adam. Everyone was great to us.
I hope you all enjoy looking at these as much as we did taking them. Let me know if you or someone you know would be interested in having some fun with your wedding dress!

Going Ons

I feel like I have gotten so far behind on my postings. I am still getting our vacation photos of Hilton Head Island together to post a few. My "mimi-me" has some cute photos that she has taken recently that I want to share with everyone.

I am so excited for some of my upcoming shoots. I have several high school seniors lined up to shoot over the next month. I have actually gotten my first male senior to shoot as well. One of the seniors is waiting to have hers done when it snows, that is going to be so much fun!

This weekend I am shooting Keisha for some "Just for Fun Photos". We are going to be doing her shoot in two parts, as she wants to wear her hair curly and straight for some. I have a few new places that I want to try out shooting her at. Be sure to watch for her posting.

August 7th I am going to be shooting my first "Trash the Dress" shoot. The bride was married in June 2010 and wants to do some unique photos in her dress before it gets sent off to the cleaners. I am so excited to shoot this! I have a "secret" location that we are going to and then we will be heading out to a park with waterfalls and a stream. We may hit the pool for some "cooling off" as well. Don't miss her posting to find out where the "secret" location is.

I am only a month away from shooting Hailey's 9 month photos and have lots of creative ideas for her as well. She will be sitting up a little better and hopefully crawling too. I can not believe that she is that close to 9 months already.

Hailey Mae- 6 Months

I can not believe that this little one is already 6 months. We shot these photos at the Cutler Gardens on Front St in Binghamton. She is sitting up a little on her own in these photos, but we had to be quick! I have to say that I really love this spot to shoot little girls at. There was just so much opportunity there.
These two are great. They were some of the first ones that I shot as we got her to sit on her own, with mom just outside the photo.

This one here is a favorite of mine and her Mommy's. (It is the one that she took as her 8x10)

Hailey with Mommy and Daddy, sitting inside the gazebo.
Having a private moment with Daddy.Mommy and me!
This one here was part of a great series that she was just checking out the daisy that I had given her to distract her. She really was enjoying the daisy.

Some more of my favorites of her with the daisy.
We were trying to get her to sit again in a different spot towards the end of the shoot. I think that she was getting tired out, so instead I shot this one of mommy holding her up.
I love that I was able to capture this moment of her and daddy.

I just want to say that it is always great to see you guys and watch how she had grown between shoots. Looking forward to our next shoot in Sept. I can not believe that she is that close to 9 months old.
Thank you, for allowing me to capture her first year in photos.

Amanda Lee- 17 months

Cute little Amanda. We shot her at The River Park in Kirkwood, NY. We have used this park several other times and enjoy it there. This shoot was a surprise for her dad for Father's Day. I was so excited that she was happy and full of smiles.

Look at the sparkling eyes!

So focused on getting the bubble wand out of the bottle.

Having fun on the playground.

Even though the sun was so vibrant in this photo this is one of my favorites.

There was a great tree there with three trunks. Amanda fit perfectly in the middle of the trunks.

This another favorite of mine- with her "cheesy" grin!

Peek-A-Boo!

A nice relaxed photo by the river shore before we left.
It has been so much fun watching Amanda grow up these last 15 months. I am so honored that I have been able to capture her growth in photos for Carrie and John.

Meet the Dean Boys!

Meet the Dean Brothers! Eric and Joey were great subjects for me to shoot. We went to Glendale Park in Endicott. It is very nice and the swing was great. There is a stream and an awesome tree that we shot photos in too.

Joey!

Eric- doing a little "fishing".

and posing in the tree.

One last photo on the playground.

Thank you Donna for letting me shoot your boys. I am glad that dad enjoyed his Father's Day gift too. Look forward to shooting them again, maybe a family photo next time?

Meet Bella

Meet Bella! I had the privilege to shoot Bella for a gift for her parents. She was great fun to shoot! I took her to the Cutler Gardens in Binghamton. It is a great place to shoot little girls with all the flowers in bloom.

I love all the flower colors that the garden has to offer for the backdrop!

Smelling a little pink rose! It just her size.

A raspberry blower!

Sitting in the gazebo.

I had great fun shooting Bella. It was a little rainy that day but it held out for us. Thank you Patty for letting me shoot your little Bella! I am glad that Bella's mom and dad enjoyed the photos too
