Beautiful Eyes, Iheartfaces photo chalenge
It has been several weeks since I entered a photo in the Iheartphotos photo challenge. This weeks theme is Beautiful Eyes. There were several little ones that I have shot that came to mind, but when going through them this little man stood out. He has beautiful blue eyes and long lashes. Eyes to make any female jealous.
I love how the bars of the playground and the wheel frame his face!

Let's Hear it for the Boys! Iheartfaces
This weeks photo challenge at Ihearfaces is "Let's Hear it for the Boys!" My choice for this shoot was this photo of my husband allowing our daughter to put a bow in his hair on night. What better way to show the love he has for his little girl and what a great dad he is.

From a Distance I Heart Faces

This weeks challenge on www.iheartfaces.com is From a Distance. My first thought for a photo for this was to choose one from this shoot with Christina. We went out a few months after she got married for some dress trashing. There were a couple of images that I went back and forth on but this was the final decision. Hope you all like it and to check out more From a Distance photos be sure to check out the link above.Sunday, May 1, 2011
Soft & Sweet- Photo Challenge
This weeks photo challenge on I Heart Faces is Soft & Sweet. This photo of my daughter and her rabbit was taken last Easter. She got the rabbit as an early Christmas present in 2009. So when it came time to shoot her Easter photos, how could I not include the Rabbit, Mrs. Bunny (as she was known at the time, now she is Fluffy.) This was not the actual image that I was going for when we put the rabbit in the basket. She kept sticking her head out and I told Grace to get close "like you are kissing the bunny." Since she loves to do just that she happily obliged., and we got this great shot!
Ok... so I totally flaked again... and missed posting this picture on I Heart Face. Maybe I will get more on top of it next week... Enjoy the photo anyway

Sun Flare Photo
I took this photo of my nephew Cameron in September. This was an outfit that his brother had worn when he was around the same age and my sister wanted photos of Cameron in the same outfit. I took them out in their backyard. He was not being the most cooperative subject that day. This was not a planned posed, but he was being so cute with the leaf, so I just went with it. The sun flare was not intentional either, but it turned out great.I have not gotten the chance to post the full session but here is a sneak peek of Cameron's 3rd birthday photos (he turned 3 in November 2010). I also did not get this posted on I Heart Faces in time. But if I had met the deadline this would have been the photo that I chose.

Best February Face
So this weeks challenge at I Heart Faces is you favorite February face. I have flipped through the camera and have it narrowed down to two that I really like... One is of Kristopher fast asleep in his bed curled up with Lucy, our boxer. I must mention that Kris is 15 yrs old, and I could not help myself, I had to take it. The other photo is from when I took Grace to get her ears pierced. The photo is of Grace's face as they are actually piercing her ears.
So, my dilemma is that I posted Grace last week and should I use her as the subject again this week or should I post Kris and risk him getting upset as it might ruin his "image." Oh, and I also should mention that the photo of Grace was actually taken by Kris as I was sitting in the chair with Grace on my lap. So, does that actually count as a photo that I can post as I did not actually take it?

hmm...
OK, so I totally flaked on getting on of the images posted for this photo challenge. I am off to see what is this weeks challenge and hopefully get a photo posted this week. I thought that I would share the two photos that I had wanted to post for this challenge.
