Welcome 2017 a year of new beginnings....
Every year I say that I am not going to allow myself to get behind, clearly this has not been happening. 2016 found me with out computer for several months when I accidentally left my charger at a hotel in North Carolina and then had some issues getting it returned to me. The returning of the charger did not happen and I had to give in and buy a new one. With my HP finally up and running I once again found myself playing catch up. However, that is no excuse as to why this wedding from July of 2015 never got posted... That I don't have an explanation for.
I know in certain cases it may be a little silly to post a session that is a year and a half old but I feel that all of my clients deserve to see their sessions posted on my blog. With it being near freezing temps in Broome County this time a year and no upcoming sessions I will be showcasing some older sessions that have not made it to the blog as of yet. So today I share with you my dear friend Kathleen's wedding!
While this couple is not celebrating a new beginning, they are still in their "Honeymoon" phase. I am proud to finally be posting their wedding photos! Kathleen and I have become good friends over the last few years that we have known each other, but that is not how things started out... I am going to be honest here... her first impression of me was not a good one and because of this we clashed several times. One day she was in need and I offered to help and I am glad that this day when she needed help I was there to offer it, because everything changed on this day and we became close. So of course when she asked me to shoot her wedding I could not refuse, for I truly knew that that first impression of be had long since faded away.
I present to you the wonderful Mr. & Mrs. Rapp
Kathleen had these great shirts made up for the bridal party to wear at rehearsal. I even had one, I will share that image later on!

The Bride & Groom Formals
I love capturing images like this one, when they couple is being silly and themselves. It helps really show how the couple is with eachother. The image above also showcases this.

Next I'm gong to share several collages. When there are a several photos of a section of a wedding that I want to share I like to put them in a collage. I chose to share these images in this way because it helps the viewer see them as a whole, it cuts down on the size of the post making it easier for the viewer to scroll back and forth in the post, and I like how nice they look in the collages.
The bride with her siblings with their spouses.
Watching the Bride & Groom dance while they keep the sun off their backs!
These umbrellas were passed out to the guest during the ceremony to them cool in the sun.
How adorable are these two?
The Cutting of the Cake.
As I believe I said earlier in the post, a shirt was also made for me for the rehearsal dinner. My husband came along to help me out and so he also had a shirt. I wanted to share our shirts, but I did not want to take away from the great shots of the Rapp wedding.
So here are my husband and I, well the backside of us anyway, showing off the awesome shirts that Kathleen had made for us!
Many, many thanks to the Rapps and their great family for allowing me to be part of their special day. I hope these images bring great memories for years to come.
