Peaches

This week I have more back shoots to share with you, but today I must
honor Grace's pet hamster, Peaches.
Peaches passed away during the night last night and we found her this morning, and it was not a good way to start the day. But after some snuggling and crying Grace made it off to school.
As you can tell from the collage that I have created below she was a very loved hamster. Peaches allowed Grace to hold her all the time and seemed to enjoy the silly things that grace would do with her, like putting Peaches on Grace's head while she danced around the living room (I thought that I had a photo of this but could not find it). She only escaped a few times on us and that was only because her cage was left open, but we always found her and returned her to her "home". She loved running in her wheel and even her ball outside her cage. She definitely was not your typical hamster. Peaches you were loved very much and will be missed greatly!

Kris & Joey- Tonight We Rise

Kris and Joey asked if I would take them out and take some photos of them to use for their band Tonight We Rise,  to promote themselves. They have a fan page on Facebook, you can find them there. It was sprinkling a little bit that day but we ventured out anyways and got some great shots. I think that the sprinkling added to the photos instead of having a bright sunny day.
First stop was to the railroad tracks in Johnson City, there was one spot in JC that I wanted to take them to. It was a spot that I had not used yet but knew this would be a great spot for them. Kris then asked to do some at the Cemetery and then we headed to the Washington St Bridge and Confluence Park.

Amanda- A suprise shoot for Mother's Day!

Blogger has changed their website some and I am still learning how to use the new stuff. It has been very cool to look at my statics and know that their are people all over the world that have stumbled upon my blog. Well, not everyone has stumbled upon the website, some have known about it and check it regularly. One thing that has been frustrating me is that I have been trying to figure out how to make the images bigger. So, tonight I was trying to rearrange the images in this post, so they were in the correct order I noticed that when the image is selected I can change it's size and whether it is in the center or to the right/left. I now give you Amanda's shoot in large images!

I have had the honor to shoot Amanda since she was just 3 months old. It has been a great journey watching her grow and love that I have been able to capture her through the last 2 1/2 years. For this shoot I got an email asking if I would be willing to meet with Amanda and her daddy to do a shoot for her mother. Of course I said yes. Just last year we did a shoot for her daddy for Father's Day and I wasn't going to turn down the chane to give her mom the same thing. We met up at the Discovery Center Story Garden and had a great time exploring and taking photos.
