Melisa PreWedding Formals

Being my best friend Melisa's Matron of Honor is not allowing me to be able to shoot her wedding. But, I was fortunate enough to be able to take her out and do some formals of just her before the wedding. We did these on a Wednesday in June (the wedding is August 2, 2008). She had come to town for a trial up-do and to get her dress to the cleaners.

We started at her mom's house in Johnson City and then went to Otsiningo Park where we took some photos down by the river. We then headed to the Washington St. Bridge. Trying to cross Riverside Dr. was interesting with lots of people yelling and whistling at her. It was like the people were not realizing that it was the middle of the week and there was no groom in tow. But anyway we had a great time. These were all taken before we dropped the dress off to be cleaned. No harming of the dress was done. I am hoping to get her out for some trashing of the dress. But she is planning on having it cleaned and perserved...

Sorry no trashing will be done to the dress. (9/01/08)

Brad and Nicole 2007

Nicole and Brad were married on 7/7/07. The ceremony took place at the Endicott Visitor Center. It was a beautiful day and we wer eable to get great outside photos. Then off to the Vestal American Legion. My favorite 2 photos are of the bride lying on the girls and the father of the bride lying on them as well. He just came over and laid down on them. It was a great moment to capture. I could not help but to shoot them by the tank. After all, it was held at the American Legion.

A few of the details.

Love this photo of the Best Man/ brother of the Bride!

Thank you for letting me capture your special day!

Kaitlin Senior Photos

I shot Kaitlin's senior pictures in August. We started at Rec Park then headed to the Washington St. Bridge and finished at the Court House. I had so much fun! She and her mom, Candice, made it that way. The image of her laying down over the staris is one of my favorites. She thought that I was crazy when I asked her to do it, but it turned out great! Another favorite is the one of her in the yellow shirt sitting in the green chair. I love the color contrast and it makes the photo.

My favorite of her at the Court House is the one of her with the pine bush behind her.

Thanks for letting me help set your Senior photos apart from the rest!

My favorite subjects!

Here are 2 of my favorite faces to shoot. My kids Kristopher and Grace!
The first two of my favorite little girl were shot at Columbia Lake in Deposit, NY at a family member's cottage. They were shot this summer in June. It was not quite warm enough to swim yet but she just had to be by the water. I love the one of her on the dock because she has no idea it is being taken. It is her being her!
These were also taken over the summer. (I think in June.) They were shot at Wolfe Park. I could not wait to get the two of them there in the nice weather and shoot them. They were not quite agreeable that day, but I got a few shots that I was happy with. It is such a beautiful place to shoot. I can not wait to go up again when the leaves begin to change.
Watch for more psot of these two, there will be lots more!

The Deans

My friend Jessica, who often finds herself behind the camera, asked me to shoot some photos of her with her 2 children. All of these were shot on the property where my sister lives. We did this session over the summer at the end of July. They were such troopers, they wore pants and it was a very hot day! They just went right along with every pose and never complained that they were hot.

My favorite shot is this one of Jessica's legs and the kids wrapped around them.

We even found some wild blackberries for a small snack.
Here are just a few of the kids by themselves!

Thanks Jessica for letting me capture your family.
