Samantha and Friends

I had the opportunity to do 2 shoots this summer with Samantha. The first shoot was of her and her best friend from college, Lacy. The second shoot was of her and Eli. I have posted them both together, since they were both shoots for Samantha. The shoot of Samantha and Eli was at the new spot I talked about in my July updates post. A spot that I really like. It has lots of opportunities for different scenes. Do not be surprised if you see it a lot. I have also posted a separate album of a few that I took of just Lacy.

Samantha and Lacy-

My favorite two of them!

The girls- being themselves. We came out of the tunnel and this is what they went and did on their own. I love when people feel comfortable enough to do silly things for me to shoot!

Eli and Samantha-

This one is my absolute favorite from this shoot of the two of them!

Standing inside the covered Bridge in Kirkwood!

My favorite green chair. Everyone always asks where it came from.

The cute couple standing on the edge of the wall over the water on the outside of the bridge.

Showing off some of their swing dancing moves.

And ending the day at the Washington Street Bridge. Eli was very interested in seeing where I had shot the two girls because he said it looked like I had put them in the middle of the street. Which I did, but only on a road that cars do not drive on!

Lacy

Here a few of the shots that I took of Lacy during the shoot of her and Samantha. How could I not take any of just her when I heard she never had Senior Portraits done and she soon will be entering her second year of college?

This one of her, leaning against the bridge, is my favorite.

Grace- 3

Here are a few photos that were taken over the last year. Now that she is almost 4 I thought that I would post some of my favorites of her at 3!

This was her 3rd birthday dress. She picked this out on her own and loved that she could twirl around in it!

This is just a shot I got of her while trying out some of my new background fabrics.

Here she is in her Easter dress. Easter basket and eggs included.

This was just a random shot that I was able to get of her the day that I had Kristopher out shooting him. Even though she is not all dressed up this is one of my favorites of her.

This was a random shot of her that was taken at a friends house while it was raining outside.

I love this one of Grace! It was shot along the River walk. I love that she is not even aware that I had just shot her picture.

July Updates

Can you believe that summer is half over already? I have been busy shooting and working at the Walk In. I still have several albums to upload that I am very excited about. A few weekends ago I had the opportunity to shoot Samantha and her friend from college, Lacy. They are so fun together. Before we were started the shoot I was informed that Lacy never had Senior photos done so I took several of just her. I hope to have that album up this week. I also have several upcoming shoots that I can not wait for. The first week in August I am shooting a wedding with Bethanie and then on Sunday I get to shoot baby Amanda again for her 6 month shoot! I hope to have time that weekend to shoot some of the balloons down at the Speidi Fest. I also have two senior girls lined up and a few family shoots as well. I have just found out about a great new spot that I want to shoot at and hope to get Connor & Cameron out there soon. Remember to check out the 365 post periodically as I am always adding to it. I was having trouble posting an album in January from our trip to see Samantha at Geneva College. I have finally gotten it up, so be sure to check that out too! It is under the January archive. Feel free to contact me via email for any of your photography needs... truss2004@yahoo.com.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your summer!!

Kristopher- 13

Here are some photos that I shot of Kristopher. The first and last ones were shot at home while the rest were shot at The Glens at Traditions. We had fun shooting them even if he is difficult to get a smile out of sometimes. He is really turning into a handsome young man.

This one was shot under the bridge that is up in the Glens. It is a beautiful old stone bridge that goes across the stream.

This one is in the grass just before you walk down into the stream. We actually shot it on our way back out.

This is one of my favorites. I thought we were done and then decided I wanted him to lean over this metal rail going down to a pavilion.

I could not resist this tree. It has three separate trunks going into one trunk. Perfect opening to put him up into. I also love the contrast that the peeling bark gives.

A handsome boy in black & white even without the smile!
