Baby "E"

Fran's grandson arrived in December 2010. They were here for a visit sooner after and we met up to do a photo shoot with him. We also did some of him with his cousin in their Yankees gear.

I was so excited to do this shoot as all of my newborn and baby shoots have been of girls and I was finally getting to shoot a baby boy. Don't get me wrong I love to shoot all my toddler boys but to have a baby boy in front of the camera was a pleasure.

What a way to start off the shoot with some baby toes.

I could not decide between these two images. Some tongue sticking out and a great big smile!

Here is baby "E" with his cousin Ashley. We were having some trouble keeping baby "E" happy at this point and he finally crashed. The Yankee photos were for Grandma Fran for her birthday.

Love this one of him fast asleep. What do you think of how I put the color back into the ball and his shirt so that the Yankees stands out?

A new prop and the first time I got to use it. And of course the toes had to peek through.

I brought along my little red Coca-Cola wagon thinking that he would fit perfect inside it. As you can tell he was a little long then I was thinking he would be. But I was so glad to be able to use it in this shoot.

Thank you Stephanie and Fran for letting me shoot this cutie pie. I look forward to the next time I get to have him in front of my lens. I can not believe that he will be ONE soon. maybe they will be back for a visit and I can do some around that time. Thanks to Ashely too for being a good sport.

Happy 30th Birthday!

Well the day has finally arrived, my sister Becky has reached 30!! She has had an over whelming road to this birthday, but she has been a fighter and has made it hear safe and sound. Looking through the photos that I have taken in 2011 I have realized that there are lots of snap shots of Becky's 2 boys and none of her. This of course to due to her medical condition and the boys spending some time with Aunt Trisha.

So, what do I have to say to that? I think that Becky is need of her very own photo shoot. So what do you say sister? Are you ready to get in front of my camera by your self?

Any way enjoy a photo of her with her family and one of her with her husband, Rob.

Love you lots, Becky and hope that you had a wonderful day!

2011 Shoots

I have finally gotten to them... At 1:10 am on Monday morning, Halloween, I am finally get some of my shoots from this year ready to post. With working so much and the kids activities I am going to try and get a shoot posted every few days so that I can get caught up.

So enjoy my 2011 shoots so far...

The cold has arrived and there has already been some snow, start thinking about getting some family photos done. Not really feeling up to the family shoot this year, then think about getting some of the kids done. I have great IDEAS for the Holiday season. Send me an email and we will get a date booked. kgrussellphoto@yahoo.com

I have also been playing with some new word style and colors for my logo. So I thought that I would try them out on a few of the shoots and then decide which one I love the best. You can also post your opinions to help me decide.

Holiday 2010

Here are a few photos that I took of the kids during Christmas break 2010.

For his school photo he wore this same outfit, minus the tie, with a blue and black ground as well. I was a little upset because I wanted the tie included in the photo because it brought the colors all together. So I made him put the clothes on with the tie so I could get the photo how I wanted it. I know, I know what a mean mommy right?

Showing off a new outfit with the new shades. He also wearing red Converse sneakers, they were just cut out of this shot.

In her Christmas dress, with some Christmas props.

This sled was her daddy's when he was little. I found it in the basement and had him bring it up and clean it up to use in winter shoots.

Sitting with a great smile with her Christmas gift, Build a Bear Clarice. We took her up and she got to make her before Christmas for her gift from her Aunt.

The Vanderlindes

Oopps...
I came across one more shoot from 2010. This is my sister and her family. Believe it or not it was hard to get the boys to sit together and look at the book and not me, but I have to say that this first photo of them is pretty convincing that they are actually reading the book together.

Rocky was even more difficult to get him to sit still for this photo. It took a few tries but we got it!

Here are 2 of the whole family. One with out Rocky and one with. As you can tell he did not want to sit with them for the photo.

Have to say that it is pretty sad that it is almost time to be shooting their Christmas photos again and I am just sharing them with you all. Oh well better late then never!

Updates

I am working on getting all the shoots from 2011 posted on the blog. I do not want to start another year being blog postings behind. They would have all been shared with you but I have been trying to get my house back in order after 4 feet of water in our basement and having to replace all of out appliances that were down there. I also have been putting in lots of extra time in at work as we are short handed there. If you are looking for a part time job and don't want to do retail we can use you. apply at http://www.uhs.net/ go to the jobs tab and search for all clerical job opportunities. You will find it under the Medical Receptionist title and Endicott.

While on here checking out the new photography postings be sure to also check out my other blog http://www.ramblingsofthefemalemind.blogspot.com/. You will find some great silly stories all out of the mouths of females! You can also become a follower on there.

The season has changed, the weather is starting to get cooler, and the leaves are becoming beautiful colors, and now is the time to get some long awaited family photos done. Send me an email or if you have already been a subject in front of my lens give me a call and we can get them done!

Thanks for keeping up with my shoots and randomness!
